AMOSSHE - The Student Services Organisation champions BRIT and the BRIT 2021 Challenge

We are thrilled that AMOSSHE - The Student Services Organisation are supporting BRIT, and championing our BRIT 2021 Challenge, by inviting their 800 members to embrace the challenge, enter teams and encourage students and staff to take part.

The BRIT 2021 Challenge is a 2,021 mile team challenge to be completed between now and 1st July 2021 (we have extended the challenge due to COVID-19 restrictions and at the request of UK universities and colleges).

The BRIT 2021 Challenge is an inclusive feel-good fundraiser to improve mental health and fitness, all whilst raising vital funds to support young adult mental health.

Every UK university, college and students' union are invited to enter teams and encourage student and staff participation, both on campus or at home.

There are over 450 universities and colleges in the UK and over 7 million HE & FE students. To assist us in sharing the opportunity to participate in the BRIT 2021 challenge with students and staff, we have partnered, or are working closely, with National Governing Bodies including the Committee of University Chairs (CUC), Universities UK (UUK), the Association of Colleges (AoC), Colleges Scotland, Colleges Wales/ColegauCymru and the National Union of Students (NUS).

It has been a pleasure to build a special relationship with AMOSSHE and we are sincerely grateful to John Bloomfield, Executive Director at AMOSSHE, for all his support.

AMOSSHE, The Student Services Organisation, informs and supports the leaders of Student Services in the UK, and represents, advocates for and promotes the student experience worldwide.

AMOSSHE is a professional membership association for leaders of Student Services in UK higher education. Student Services departments in nearly all publicly funded UK higher education providers are members of AMOSSHE, as well as several overseas universities.

Their members’ work supports students in fulfilling their academic potential and making the most of university life. Many of their members’ services specifically help the most vulnerable students to experience higher education in a fair manner.

“We are proud and delighted to champion The British Inspiration Trust (BRIT) and promote their BRIT 2021 Challenge to support and improve the mental health and fitness of young adults in the UK.

AMOSSHE promotes the development and sharing of good practice within Student Services in the UK higher education sector at national level. Our members contribute their time and expertise to benefit the whole community, and ultimately, the experience of students.

The BRIT Vision resonates with us and we will encourage our 800 UK higher education members to embrace the BRIT 2021 Challenge, register teams and encourage their students and staff to take part.

This is an inspiring opportunity for the higher education sector to show a collectively powerful approach to improve young adult mental health and raise vital funds for mental health charities who support students and young adults.”
